Auckland Junior Music Competition Entries close 30th July |
All students learning a musical instrument are welcome to enter into this competition. Parents need to organise their childs entry and supervise them on the day. Saturday 28th August. King School Remuera 258 Remuera Rd.
Students are welcome to enter as a group from their private Music Teacher. Remuera Intermediate will be entering their String Orchestra and String Ensembles. |

| Play It Strange are organising a Junior Songwriting competition for the Ukulele Festival in November 2010. Deadline for entries is Friday 13th August. See the Year 7 and 8 mp3 links to continue working on your songs. |

APPA 3 Day Instrumental Course |
| Students are welcome to join these instrumental groups organised by the APPA. It is a fantastic opportunity for students to prepare a performance with a new conductor for the performance in the Auckland Town Hall APPA Music Festival. Parents are advised that they are responsible to transport children to all rehearsals and performances both during school and out of school times. |

Music Timetable Term 3 2010 |
| The timetable is very full preparing for the Auckland Junior Music Competitions, Battle of the Bands and DJ BEATS and our Music Showcase Evening. It is important students are prompt and reliable as many teachers are giving up time to assist them with their group rehearsals and music groups rely on every individual to make the performance a success. |
