Welcome to the website of the South Auckland Health Foundation.
The South Auckland Health Foundation is a registered charitable trust that supports and raises funds for the health services provided by Counties Manukau District Health Board.
Established in 1999, it works to supplement government support by raising funds for the extra features that help to enhance the health services delivered by the District Health Board to the communities of Counties Manukau.
The Foundation supports both hospital and community-based initiatives with a special emphasis on projects that benefit children and families. This is made possible by the generosity of people like you.
The team at the Foundation are thrilled that thanks to the support of many of you, we had a very successful HDU opening last month. This now completes our new state of the art Critical Care Complex here at Middlemore Hospital.
We are soon to start fundraising for our next major project - digital mammography equipment, to improve the breast screening services we can offer to the women in our community. If you are interested in supporting this project - or have any fundraising ideas - please don't hesitate to contact the Foundation.
